3D Guided Implant Placement

3D Guided Implant Placement:
Digital Guided Implant Placement is the most comfortable method of placing implant for strong and reliable tooth replacement.

Dental Implants are a fixed solution that feel and function like normal teeth meaning they don’t move which means that you can eat and smile with confidence. A dental implant acts as an artificial tooth root and is placed into the jawbone. A dental crown is then placed on the top of that root.  In short these are the nearest thing to have your natural teeth back again.

This method uses the patient’s CT images on a computer; planning the perfect location for the implant through an implant planning software. This is a more precise and accurate way to place an implant.

What is 3D Guided Implant Placement involves?

Step 1
We take a CBCT (Cone Beam CT) at consultation visit. We will first use Implant Planning Software to work out the implant optimal location. Secondly we will use the patient’s scan to make a highly accurate surgical template.

Step 2
The surgery date.  We use the 3D surgical template to place the implant(s). The 3D surgical guide will guide the implant into the exact optimal position.

Step 3
Making and insertion of the final implant crown
