Catherine Smith graduated from Westmead School Of Dental Therapy in 1987. Dental Therapists are specifically trained to treat children aged from 0-18 years of age for their general dental needs. This including check ups, cleans, fluoride application fillings and extractions.
Catherine is committed to continuing education. She attends various courses and lectures in order to provide the highest quality dental care to her patients. Catherine is a Sydney University clinical educator. She supervise Bachelor Of Oral Health dental students in the clinical setting. She also teaches the Dental Assistants course for TAFE NSW.
Catherine Smith is a very experienced clinician. She believes that the dental care children and teenagers receive should promote positive dental experiences. This in turn will promote positive dental attitudes. Catherine has the ability to put her patients at ease, so they have an enjoyable dental visit.
Catherine Smith worked extensively in the public dental system in both clinical and management roles.
Outside of dental therapy, Catherine enjoys spending time with her husband, two children and her two dogs, Princess Mia and Oliver Dyson.
