Dental Sedation – Sleep Dentistry

Dental Sedation – Sleep Dentistry!

Get your teeth fix while you sleep!

Some of our patients say, “If only I could go to sleep, then wake up and it would all be all over”. Well, that can be done. If you feel anxious about having implant treatment, at Penrith Dental Implant Centre we offer treatment while you are under sedation.
All our procedures can be performed easily under only local anaesthetic, even for anxious patients. However when sedation is requested, we will explain the process in detail so that you feel confident and comfortable about your treatment.

Sedation

Sedation often referred to as “Twilight Sleep” or “Twilight Sedation” or “Conscious Sedation”. It is the most advanced form of dental sedation available and uses a combination of sedative and pain relieving drugs to create a drowsy and dream-like state of deep, calming relaxation for the entire duration of your dental procedure. It is a modern, safe and highly effective technique that will make your visit to the dentist a relaxing, comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Although you may have been unaware that it is available, once Sleep Dentistry is experienced you will have an entirely new, positive and relaxed outlook when you next see the dentist.

Advantages of Dental Sedation:

Dental Sedation is safer than a general anaesthetic and does not require hospitalisation. You can have Sleep Dentistry here at Best Western Dental Centre while comfortably resting in the dentist’s chair.
During Sedation, you are in a very calm and relaxed state and breathing entirely on your own without assistance or artificial ventilation.
Sleep Dentistry begins even before the dentist gives you the first needles and is precisely adjusted, tailored and modified to each patient’s individual needs.
When you wake up, you have no memory or recollection of the noises, smells and tastes of the dental work and are unaware of the needles and the drilling. There is no pain, no discomfort and no fear. Dental Sedation takes the trauma out of your dental treatment.
All our Dental Sedation procedures are performed by visiting qualified Sedationist, Dr Melissa Licenblat and you will be required to fill out a detailed Medical questionnaires and in some occasions attend for a separate Consultation with the Dr to confirm that you are a suitable candidate for sedation.

We are providing Dental Sedation treatments for patients from Penrith and surrounding areas.

Dr Nathan Le also offer treatments under Sedation at his Best Western Dental Centre practice

Intravenous Sedation Cost: $700 for the Sedation fees for up to 1 hour appointment.
